Below is a breakdown of our index rates available for each market on our Next Generation trading platform

Spreads shown are the tightest spreads available during market hours (when underlying market is open for trading). Indices can trade outside these periods and the margin may widen during these times.
1) Naming conventions used by IG Index and City Index differ to those used by CMC Markets: UK100 = FTSE 100, US30 = Wall Street, US SPX500 = US SP 500 and US NDAQ 100 = US Tech 100.
2) Spreads may widen dependent on liquidity and market volatility. Spreads available at CMC Markets for spread bets and CFDs.
3) Spreads are subject to variation, especially in volatile market conditions. The IG spread depends on whether the market in question is 'in hours' or 'out of hours'. 'In hours' usually corresponds to the period in which the underlying market is open for trading. On some markets we also offer 'extended-hours' spreads outside of the usual 'in-hours' period; these are tighter than the corresponding 'out-of-hours' spreads.
4) The Spreads quoted are indicative of the Spreads that City Index quote during market hours. Current spreads can be found on their ITP or by contacting 'Support Services'. Please note that Spreads may widen near exchange opening and closing times and outside exchange hours, or in response to market conditions.
5) The spreads quoted correspond to the underlying market open hours
